Ink Examination

Cosslett and Barr are able to conduct an ink examination to determine if an entry has been added. It may also be possible to determine what was written under a crossing out.

We can use specialised lighting techniques to determine the details of obliterated entries or if entries have been added, altered or removed.

Original documentation is required for a full and proper forensic ink examination and this must be undertaken at the company offices.  This is because the equipment used is not portable.

Can I comment on how quickly and efficiently your company were able to respond to my request – I will keep your details on my file to not hesitate to contact again should the need arise
